“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble” (Proverbs 16:3-4).
“Many are the plans in the mind of man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand” (Proverbs 19:21). God created you for a purpose, which is indicative of the fact that you are still here. All He requires is that you have faith in Him and believe that what He has in store for you, is greater than anything you could possibly manufacture on your own. Romans 8:28 assures you that, “for those who love God, all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose”. Give God the time He needs to manipulate and connect the individual pieces of your puzzle, which may include removing seasonal people out of your life that have already fulfilled their purpose in your story, thus making room for those He has chosen to help get you to and through the next leg of your journey. “If you trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him, He will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Step Out on Faith
The process could very well require you to be uprooted from your current surroundings, which may include your job or profession, your major, where you reside, etc. This is symbolic of Him moving you out of your comfort zone to a place where you will have to step out on faith and utilize the tools you have acquired thus far, and the lessons you have learned along the way all to glorify and to honor Him. Boldness and confidence is a necessity as we grow spiritually into our own. Fear and doubt can not live where faith and trust reside, so you will have to make a choice. God is wanting to do a new thing in your life, but you have to be obedient and exhibit flexibility to conform to His will and His plan. The process of letting go of your will and your plan will not be easy, but with your obedience, your reward will be realized. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).
