“The great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the devil and Satan, who deceives the “whole” world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9). Many when they read that scripture won’t fully grasp the true meaning behind it, perhaps thinking it is an overstatement or gross exaggeration when that couldn’t be further from the truth. The word “whole” is defined as all of something, the entirety of or a complete amount, etc. But even knowing that, they still may not believe they are included in that number as they are somehow better than the masses and too good to be deceived. It is “for this reason The Most High sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). The whole world system is built on lies so we were all indoctrinated and welcomed into the fold. As children, we had no choice but to be deceived, but as adults, we have a choice to stay deceived.
Unlearn That Which You have Learned
It can be a difficult pill to swallow as I have been there. In starting this blog over a year ago, I came face to face with the realization that everything that I had been taught was a lie. I have always questioned certain things because the world teaches and preaches doctrines that are counter to The Most High’s Word. Once you make the choice to stand with The Most High and to seek the truth where ever it may lead you, it becomes easier to let go of the world’s lies. I will be tackling some of what I have learned in subsequent posts, but know that once one lie crumbles, it leads to another and then another until what you are left with is a clean, blank slate from which to work. I realized that to find the truth, I would have to unlearn that which I had learned, which was everything. It doesn’t matter your race, which nation you hail from, your language or your socio-economic status, we have “all” been deceived and our reality manipulated. Understand that if “false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if it were possible, even the elect” how much easier would it be to deceive everyone else” (Mark 13:22).
Do Not Be Deceived
“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life” (Galatians 6:7-8). People don’t like to be told that what they are doing is wrong or hearing that there will be consequences of their wrongdoing. After all they say “it’s my life, so I can live it the way I choose to live it“. They like to have their ears tickled and their egos stroked, rather than to hear the truth no matter how painful it may be. This is what gives the false prophets a strangle hold on the masses. They will not be the bearer of bad news so they are not going to bother with discussing the wages of sin. They are more concerned with preaching about how prosperous you can be in this world than on the state of your soul and on obtaining eternal life. Filling the pews and their pockets is their top priority so your salvation doesn’t even make the list. “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and to be saved” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). The lie will always feel and seem better than the truth, but it is the truth, that will set us free. Do not blindly trust anyone, but do your due diligence to seek the truth and ye shall find it.
