Clothe yourself with humility, “humbling yourself therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time” (1 Peter 5:6). Understand that you would have nothing aside from Him and that you can do nothing without Him. He is the author and finisher of your story and knows every chapter from beginning to end. You are dependent on Him for the very air that you breathe. The very life in your body is from Him. He allows you to wake up every morning and until He calls you home, you are allowed to sleep every night. You may not have everything that you want, when you want it, but you have everything that you need. “But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
God is Always on Time
Acknowledge your weaknesses and pray for God’s strength and His protection to sustain you while you are going through, until He pulls you through to the other side. Not in your time, but in His time. The longer you choose to do things your way, fight against progress and God’s plan, the longer it will take for you to learn and for God’s plan to be revealed. Be in peace and trust that God has a purpose and plan. Don’t try to figure everything out, for you will never know God’s thoughts or His ways, because they are not and will never be your ways (Isaiah 55:8). Be flexible, go with the flow and try to enjoy the ride, as hard as that may be. Before you know it, you will be experiencing your blessing. In the end, you will come to realize that God’s timing IS the best timing. He is never late and is right on time.
